The event will take place in the 12th and 14th pavilions of Ifema. For the nostalgic ones, around 2,000 squared metres will be fully dedicated to classic games: 8 and 16 bit consoles, developers that inspire their work in the aesthetics of classic games, pinball machines, arcades, micro-computer exhibits, talks with inventors…
Besides this journey back in time, in Madrid Gaming Experience, you will enjoy more than 600 stands where you can try the latest games and releases.
There are also several game competitions set (just like the League of Legends Championship), as well as talks and conferences, like the one in charge of analysing the 25 years of the most legendary and fast hedgehog of the history of any screen: Sonic
Both Ifema and Game are in charge of the organisation of the event of the year for videogame lovers in Madrid.
in the Madrid Gaming Experience there will also be room for music. For example, the visitors will be able to enjoy the Spanish Philharmonic Orchestra interpreting Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds.
Additionally, the Retro Band System will play live music from the soundtrack of classic videogames (Street Fighter II, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda…), while competing in championships of those same arcades.
