Cinema in Cibeles

One of the best pleasures of summer in the city (whether we are talking about Madrid or any of the other big Capital’s) is to be able to go more often than usual to the cinema taking advantage of the air conditioned cinema rooms and to be able to escape the heat for a few hours.

If you are passionate about cinema, today we will talk about a special cinema series in Madrid that will allow you to go back to some of the greatest films both modern and classic shown as they were recorded originally .

Cibeles Cinema

From July the14th to September the 8th you can get to see the special cinema series Cibeles de Cine.In the Galería de Cristal(the glass gallery) of the venue room CentroCentro, more than 70titles in original sound track with spanish subtitles. Not only can you see the newest releases(The revenant, Deadpool, Carol,The Hateful Eight…),but also the contemporary classics: Cinema Paradiso, The princess bride, Akira, Cabaret, The good, the bad, the ugly ,Reservoir Dogs, The Cat in the hot tin roof…

All the films will be shown in HD and an excellent sound quality. Buying the ticket to any of the films showing also allows you to visit the exposition ‘813.Truffau by PaulaBonet’.This is a tribute to the legendary French film maker.

Midnight Cinema

Apart from the films projected in the afternoon (20:00h),the late night session will let you see films in the ‘Cibeles Midnight Movies’, on saturdays and sundays at midnight.

Last year, the edition of this street cinema series in Madrid had a great turnout, more than 25000 people got to enjoy some of the films shown at this venue.

For that reason this year’s edition at the CentroCentro venue has extended the capacity of the Galería de Cristal which will now offe100 additional seats .
