Traditional markets of Madrid

Spain is a country in which the food and the care with which it is prepared are very serious issues. In this sense, making a living to the trational markets in Madrid is one of the best ways to combine gastronomy, tourism and architecture. ROUTE BY THE TRADITIONAL MARKETS OF MADRID

  • Mercado de San Antón : Located in one of the most cosmopolitan and fun neighborhoods in the city. The Mercado de San Antón, in the heart of Chueca, has an elegant restaurant with a terrace and, of course, a large number of restaurants and spaces where an interesting program of workshops and activities takes place.
  • Moncloa Market: As in the case of the Mercado de San Antón, in the Moncloa market, there is not only space for good gastronomy and quality products. In this commercial space, performances and concerts of different styles are organized, from classical jazz to pop.
  • San Miguel Market : The Mercado de San Miguel Miguel and its imposing structure of iron and centennial glass is an attraction in itself. This is a monument of protected urban architecture, inside which you can enjoy a pleasant day of shopping, in addition to the delights that their restaurants have to offer.
  • Mercado de San Ildefonso : An urban market, varied and that, as in the cases of Moncloa and San Antón, organizes different actions and activities inside.
