Akira Cómics
The Marugán family is behind this popular shop, located in the 74th of Betanzos avenue, in the El Pilar neighbourhood. It’s not only famous in Spain but also internationally. This is why it was awarded by San Diego’s Comic-Con the ‘Eisner Spirit of Comics’ prize in 2012 . In it you can find a huge amount of collections, from national classics like Mortadelo y Filemón to American Marvel adventures. They don’t only sell comics but also action figures, board games and merchandising.
Madrid Cómics
From the most popular comic store, to the most veteran one. Just steps away from Gran Vía, in the number 17 of calle Silva you can find this legendary establishment that has been offering, for over 30 years, a wide selection of European, Japanese and American comics. It also has an interesting collection of magazines of various themes. The 39th edition of the International comic salon of Barcelona awarded it with the prize for the best specialised library.
Elektra Cómics
You can find this shop right in the centre of the Spanish capital (San Bernardo 20). Elektra Comics first opened in the 90’s. Since then it offers manga and superheroes graphic novels. You can also acquire all kinds of cinema, series and comic related articles
Crisis Cómics
This classic store is located in the number 28 of calle de La Luna. With the name of Crisis, it opened over a quarter or a century ago. Nearly everything that relates to this world can be found there. And for those that have a more limited budget, you can browse through their second-hand articles.
