Sound Isidro, the best alternative music in Madrid
When summer is getting close, Madrid starts to fill up with events of all kinds. Days are longer and hotter and the good weather makes us much more receptive to art. A great example of this is the Sound Isidro Festival. This event will crowd some of the most emblematic venues of the city, with concerts of both national and international alternative groups and artists between the 4th of May and the 7 sup>th of June.
A settled suggestion
This is a fresh and attractive proposal, ideal for the alternative and underground music enthusiasts. Music and artistic demonstrations together in an international atmosphere. The event will spread through some of the most important venues of the city, like La Boite, Costello, Wharf 73, Copérninco, Fun House, Caracol, El Juglar, El Sótano, Wurlitzer, Teatro Barceló, Siroco, Sala Clamores, Joy Eslava, El Templo or La Riviera.
Different styles and artists
In this edition of the Festival, artists like Buzzcocks, The Unfinished Sympathy, G. A. S. Drummers, Animal Collective and Jonathan Wilson (amongst many others) will play. It will start the 4th of may with the photographic exhibit: ‘10th anniversary of Sergio Albert’ with an acoustic live concert of Otus, in Animal Maker (Calle Barceló, 9).
