Usually, music festivals are meant for adults. However, a series of music festivals for kids is being prepared in Madrid.

Music in Malasaña

In the 3rd, 4th and 5th of June the Malakids Festival takes place. An event with concerts, workshops, urban activities, theatre…

This music festival for children in Madrid will be set in the Dos de Mayo square. LASEDE del COAM in callehortaleza, the Plaza de las Comendadorasor  calle Palma, or calle Luna.

A mini-festival in Madrid

The Madrid Music City festival will be celebrated in the Plaza del Matadero de Madrid, between the 21st and 25th of June. The event is organised as a celebration for the European Day of the Music.  In its program, the same 25th, there’s also space for a mini- version of the festival.

The MMC Kids will prepare concerts for the smallest ones and workshops of all sorts, and all kinds of activities. The entry is free but there will be a solidary ticket whose price (3€) will be destined for the refugees.

City of childhood

Madrid is one of the European cities that are more sensitive and aware to the care and childhood wellbeing. UNICEF acknowledges Madrid as a Childhood Friendly city, a symbol that has recently been renovated and that seeks to implement the defense of children’s rights and assume the adoption of municipal childhood plans as well as the search for ways to make children take part in public life.
