Music and concerts that will fill the WorldPride 2017
From Wednesday the 28th of June to Sunday the 2nd of July, Madrid will be invaded by stages to celebrate the 2017 WorldPride. Hundreds of artists will fill the city with colour, diversity and tolerance. Some of the national and international artists that have confirmed their presence are: Ana Torroja, Azúcar Moreno, Camela, Conchita Wurst, Kate Ryan, Loreen, Marta Sánchez, Nuria Fergó, Ruth Lorenzo and 99 souls.
The WorldPride Festival will offer an eclectic and varied programme to celebrate the LGBT Pride: World music, dance, cabaret, pop, Latin and electronic concerts, as well as transvestism shows. Performances will take place in 5 stages between Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, Plaza del Rey, Plaza de España, Puerta del Sol, Puerta de Alcalá.
During these days the Muestra T Cultural Festival takes place in Plaza del Rey, where you can enjoy music and dance from throughout the world, with the performances of artists such as Carmen París or Alicia Ramos. Other well-known artists like the Uruguayan Dani Umpi, the American singer Dorian Wood or the Cuban duo formed by Jade and Jorge Iván.
On the other hand, in the Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, you will be able to find the Cabaret scenario for the WorldPride. A wide variety of transvestism artists will represent fragments of renowned shows as The Original Gula GulaDrag Show, The Lost Men Cabaret or CrazyGirls. On Thursday the 29th of June, the radio station Radiolé will organise a festival with performances of Camela, Nuria Fergó and Sara Salazar amongst others.
The main event in a stage will be in Puerta del Sol, with the Spain Mr Gay Pride, where you will also be able to enjoy live the concerts of Azúcar Moreno, Mirela and Wighfield.
In the stage in Plaza de España Roser, Soraya and Dj Lara Fulanita or Dj Tatiana will be just some of the artists that will perform live. In addition to this, on the 30th of June the Love Festival will bring other very important shows.
And last but not least, in Puerta de Alcalá Baccara, Celia Flores, Marta Sánchez and OBK amongst others will also be playing.
