To remember the close Olympic Games in Rio, we suggest you take part in the popular race Madrid runs through Madrid, from 9:30am on Sunday the 18th of September, and that will take you through some of the most emblematic streets of the Spanish capital.

This 10km race opens its participation to both individual runners or teams. In this sense, the limit of participants is of 10,000.

In addition to keeping fit and enjoying a nice Sunday in the Spanish capital. this popular race in Madrid lets you pass through some of the most emblematic settings of the city: Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Cibeles, Calle de Alcalá…

The finish line will be located in Paseo del Prado. In the itinerary, runners will find several posts of provisioning, health, cloakroom, rubbish bins, and a bus for the ones staying behind.

A solidary race

Another of the positive aspects of this popular race in Madrid is its solidary component. One euro of every participant’s inscription will be destined to support the work ofBomberosUnidos sin Fronteras (i.e. United firefighters without borders)
