Festivals for all tastes

Published on September 8, 2016 by Madrid SmartRentals

Whoever thinks that July and August are the best months for music festivals in Madrid is wrong. In September there are a series of music festivals and events of various themes programmed. We show them to you today.

Electronic music in a wide sense

On the 17th of september in Getafe takes place the 4EVERY1 festival, an event fully dedicated to electronic music where artists like Dannic, Nervo, Helena Legend, Nacho Lara, Atmozfears o Mad Dog will perform amongst many others. Four stages each one for one type of electronic music.

Neox Rocks Festival

This pop-rock festival will take place the 23rd and 24th of September in what will be its third edition. Just as 4EVERY1, it will take place in Getafe, very close to Madrid. This event brings together some of the most important Spanish indie artists such as: Nacho Vegas, Izal, Xoel López, Neuman, La Habitación Roja…
½ Madrid PopFest

You will be able to enjoy this event on the 30th of September in Sala Clamores. Pete Astor, a referent figure in British indie pop, Betacam, Juvenilia and Yumi Yumi Hip zhop will take part in this minifestival for the enthusiasts of the more alternative side of pop.

Rocktiembre

The same as in the United States or the United Kingdom, during a large part of the 80’s, the music genre par excellence was the loud and rough heavy metal.

The end of the 70’s was the real start of this era. The 22nd of September of 1978 the Vistalegre bullfighting ring hosted the first concert of what was then called heavy rock.

To remember that day, this time in Las Ventas takes place a new edition of Rocktiembre, with some of the most important Spanish heavy metal artists: Barón Rojo, Asfalto, Coz, Topo…

A great event for those who like to shout and sing with their fist held high.
