Enjoy autumn in Madrid (II)

Published on September 22, 2016 by Madrid SmartRentals

Welcome to the second part of our personal list of plans to enjoy Madrid in Autumn. We hope you found the first part interesting. Prepare a piece of paper and a pen so you can write down some new leisure ideas in the city.

Madrid in Autumn for kids

If you’re coming to Madrid in Autumn and you want to make some plans for your children, here we show you some nice options.

To start, on Sunday the 2nd, the 16th and the 30th of October as well as the 13th of November takes place in the Nuevo Apolo Theatre, the festival Mini Finde. This festival includes musical performances of different bands, but with songs adapted for the little ones.

In addition to this, also on Sundays (from the 2nd to the 30th of October), in the Gran Teatro Príncipe Pío takes place the musical ¡Qué locura de circo! (i.e. What a crazy circus) It’s a show that brings the world of the classic circus to all the family by the means of a play.

Routes to escape from the busy city

The nature and forests that surround Madrid are of an incredible beauty when Autumn arrives. It’s a great idea for you to enjoy one of the great routes that the region puts to your disposal. Some of our favourites are the Water path or the Lagunillas route.

The Autonomous Community of Madrid has placed a series of guided routes in different locations, comfortable and safe, that will serve as the perfect opportunity to get to know the nature outside the city limits.

Cutting-edge gastronomy

In our first part of this list we told you about some traditional gastronomic proposals to enjoy in Madrid in Autumn. Today we will tell you about an event that’s oriented to a more avant-garde cuisine. We’re referring to Millesime Madrid. From the 7th to the 10th of October this event will take place in the Satellite Pavilion in Madrid Arena.

Tastings, workshops, master classes and events that will also count with the presence of professionals such as Jorge de Andrés, Xosé Torres, Arnau Bosch, Diego Hernández, José Manuel Baños, or Guillermo González. A great way to know what’s setting the new trends in the world of the most innovative gastronomy.
