Places to ski in Madrid
Madrid counts with various ski tracks and stations that are amongst the best in Spain. Today we want to tell you about the ones that are the best for us.
Puerto de Navacerrada
The Navacerrada Port is a ski station in Madrid with a minimum height of 1,700 metres and a maximum level of 2,177m. It’s one of the most used ski stations for Madrid’s locals, specially on weekends and because of its proximity to the city (it’s between Madrid and Segovia) It has one place for beginners and another for more experimented skiers.
Valdesquí
Also located in Sierra de Guadarrama, about 10km from Navacerrada. It has more than 20km of suitable slopes, 21 drag lifts and it’s greatly accessible by public transport and road from Madrid.
Madrid Snow Zone
Enthusiasts of winter games in Madrid can enjoy activities like snowboard or ski 365 days a year in Madrid Snow Zone. It’s located in the shopping centre Xanadú, in Arroyomolinos.
18,000 squared metres of slopes (a main track and another for beginners) with ski lift and conveyor belt. You can rent your equipment there, you have free parking, lockers and a skiing school.
