Autumn plans in Madrid with children
The Autumn-Winter season brings a series of ideal events in Madrid, to be enjoyed with the little ones of the house. Today in Gran Vía Capital, we’re going to tell you all about the most important ones.
The Art of The Brick
Lego figures are great, but not just for kids, also for adults. In the Fernán Gómez Theatre of Madrid you can enjoy, up until the 5th of February the exhibit: The Art of Brick: DC Superhereos.. This exhibition is a tour through some of the most legendary villains and heroes of the DC editorial, with over 120 works and Lego-built sculptures.
A very interesting event where children below four years old can visit for free
Universal Childhood Day
On November the 5th and 6th, in the Casa de Campo’s Cristal Pavilion, an event takes place coinciding with the Universal Childhood Day. Inflatable castles, concerts, workshops, dance, exhibits and sport activities can be enjoyed from 11am to 8pm on the 5th, and from 11am to 3pm on the 6th.
“Small” Dance
So children can start discovering the dance world, nothing better than: Transfórmate: Una Historia de la Danza (i.e. Transform, the history of dancing). Different scenes and languages of some of the most important choreographers of the 21st Century (Isadora Duncan, Martha Graham, La Ribot…) From the 19th of November in the Royal Theatre of Madrid.
Musicals for kids
Plays like The Little Mermaid (until the 20th of November in the Marquina Theatre), Puss in Boots (Until January the 8th, Príncipe Gran Vía Theatre), Cindirella (Galileo Theatre), or Alice in Wonderland (Until the 7th of January in the Príncipe Gran Vía Theatre) are taking place over the next few months and are perfect for your children.
