ARCO in Madrid

Arco in Madrid, Our city where you can breathe art. We’re not only referring to the three art galleries that form the Art Walk. In the city there are several places and artistic events. Inside the contemporary panorama, there’s a very interesting event taking place very soon in Madrid. This is ARCO, in Madrid from the 22nd to the 26th of February in IFEMA.

ARCOMadrid is the International Contemporary Art Fair that since 36 years ago, offers to professionals, artists and curious visitors the possibility to enjoy some of the best creations of the actual panorama.

In the 2017 edition of ARCOMadrid, Argentina will be the guest country. About 200 galleries will take part in this year’s edition of the International Contemporary Art Fair. Nearly 7 out of 10 participants come from out of Spain.

In this sense, in addition to being the guest country, in ARCO 2017 the presence of Latin America is paramount, as they are nearly half of the participants of this event.

Participating artists

Some of the most important artists that are going to take part in ARCO are Anna Oppermann, Henri Chopin or Robert Breer, amongst many others. Fito Conesa or Elena Alonso are just some of the artists that make up the Spanish representation

Additionally, in this event you can enjoy professional encounters, critics and gallery owners, as well as work sessions.  In this Year’s edition of ARCOMadrid there will be a special attention to disciplines like architecture and design.
