A day in the amusement park
One of the best things of theme parks is that both children and adults can enjoy it. In Madrid there are two main examples of attraction parks that will surely make you have a great time with the kids and, at the same time, will let you remember when you were little.
A day in the amusement park
The Parque de atracciones de Madrid was the first one of this kind that was opened in the city. Since it first opened in 1969 it has been one of the main leisure options of the city.
Roller-coasters, water attractions, carousel, programmed performances (like The Walking Dead Experience, or Bob Square Pants’ House) or musicals will let you have a great time in an historical setting for locals and tourists.
Despite its over four decades of history, Madrid’s attraction park has not lost any of its charm. Approximately two million people visit it every year.
Warner Park
Another classic amusement park in Madrid is, without a doubt, the Warner Park. Although it’s much more recent than the other one, the Warner Park has become (since it first opened in 2002) one of the most visited leisure places for tourists and locals.
Since 2006, it holds the title of the safest attraction park in Spain. With over 1,5 squared kilometres it divides into several thematic areas: Hollywood Boulevard, Movie World Studios, DC Superheroes World, Old West Territory, Cartoon Village…
Over 42 different attractions, the Warner Park of Madrid is also known for having one of the highest roller-coasters in Europe.
In this theme park you can also find a wide variety of restaurants, shops and stores. A highly recommendable option to spend a day out in Madrid.
