What to do a few steps from Gran Via Capital?
ARE WE GOING TO SKATE ON ICE?
The Skating Rinks are fun for adults and children. Take the opportunity that we have between January 6 and 15 to slip, play and fall on these tracks and we show you some of the best options.
But hey, how privileged we are, we have a track next to our apartments! Yes, how you read it, right in Plaza de la Luna (one block away from Callao subway) we have a skating rink installed, perfect for impatient children or adults who arrive in Madrid and can not stand the urge to slide and play on the ice .
But if you are looking for something more professional, we advise you to visit the skating rinks of the Plaza Colón, the Parque Berlín, Plaza Vaguada or the great track of the Palacio de Cristal in Cibeles that has more than 400 square meters and with so much Beauty is easy to imagine that you are skating inside the Frozen movie.
CORTYLANDIA: THE TRADITION THAT ENJOY THE SMALLER ones CONTINUES!
As every year, families gather at El Corte Inglés de Preciados, on Calle Maestro Victoria to get closer to the magic of the children’s musical of ¨Cortilandia¨. Here lights and mechanical dolls are combined, to gain glances and admiration from the little ones. This facade is a classic and on this occasion the show has the name: “Coser and Sing” (with about 15 minutes duration). Cortylandia is an example of the traditions of Madrid that revive the illusion and hope that the Magi give us what we want or yearn for this new year.
