Madrid is a big Autonomous Community with much tradition, so it’s not strange to find numerous charming towns inside its limits. Take note of these we would like to show you.

  • Chinchón: Charming and archetypal town in Madrid. It’s main square (plaza mayor), vital point in the city, dates back to the 15th Century. We’re not exaggerating if we say that this is one of the most amazing and beautiful squares of Spain. Just for that (and for the great food you will find in the locality) it’s already well worth a visit. But, as we’re sure you’ll find out, Chinchón has much more to offer.
  • Rascafría: Situated in Valle Alto de Lozoya. In addition to the beauty of its constructions and the emblematic buildings (like the San Andrés Apóstol church or the Casona) one of the strong points of this town is the magnificence of the natural surroundings and landscape.
  • Manzanares El Real: The extraordinary Mendoza Castle and fortress is the main point of interest that attracts all the eyes and photographic lenses of the visitors that go to Manzanares El Real, although this town has a wide variety of other attractions such as The Old Castle (Castillo Viejo), Nuestra Señora de las Nieves or the Nuestra Señora de la Peña Sacra
  • Nuevo Baztán: Even though Nuevo Baztán is a relatively modern village if we compare it to the others (it rised up in the 18th Century), but its old town is as pretty an charming as any town that comes to mind. In addition to this, you can find it at only 50 km from Madrid.
  • Puebla de la Sierra: A nice little town like out of a fairy tale in the Madrid mountains. There’s no better way to describe this amazing location, surrounded by a truly spectacular landscape. A perfect setting for a rural getaway in nature.
