Final stage of the Vuelta a España 2016
As we have already told you in our “brother blog” of Madrid Smart Rentals, Madrid is a city that loves cycling. And the love is mutual, this is why one of the three important three week races of the international cycling panorama has in the capital of Spain its last stage.
On September the 11th, Paseo de Cibeles will host the final stage of the 71st edition of the Vuelta Ciclista a España. A good day for sprinters. You can find more information in the official web of the race.
Festival with B for Bicycle
Just as in the previous event, although not in a competitive manner, the bike will also be the main theme of a very original festival that will take place in Madrid on the 17th of September. Matadero Madrid will host the B for bike festival that will bring together bicycle enthusiasts, artisans, workshops and stores, with the main objective of promoting the bicycle as a sustainable way of transport that respects the environment.
Music, art, workshops, conferences, activities, games, gastronomy and competitions in a festival that reunited over 21,000 people in its last edition (the 7th). You will also see a “bike bank”, a velodrome, a BMX circuit and a “bike-polo” range.
UNIBIKE
UNIBIKE is an ideal fair for real bicycle enthusiasts (aficionados, professionals and semi professionals) both in its competitive and ludic forms. The third edition of this bike festival in Madrid takes place on the 22nd and 23rd of September for pros, and 24th and 25th for amateurs.
Circuits so you can try bikes, all kinds of activities (bike park for kids, Pump Track for BMX, bike tourism…) a place to check the state of your bike, hundreds of exhibitors… a great place to get to know the last innovations and trends that are happening in the world of the two-wheelers and pedals.
