DCODE Festival is warming up

Little by little, August is reaching its halfway point and we are starting to plan things for September. In spite of what you could think, not only July and August are the  perfect months to enjoy music festivals in Madrid. In September you can also find an important number of these types of event. Today we tell you about one of the most important ones.

DCODE Festival 2016

The DCODE festival is the musical event that puts an end to the Summer season in Madrid. This open-air festival takes place in the Complutense University Campus on September the 10th from 12:00 to 6:00 and offers the shows of some of the most important pop, rock and indie music groups such as: Eagles of Death Metal, Mark Ronson, Bunbury, Jimmy Eat World, Zara Larsson…

In addition to this, Dj performances and other activities. In the outdoor venue there will be an important gastronomic offer as well as fashion and trendy items, in order for the experience to be even more than purely musical.

A great way to dance and enjoy an interesting summer day. However, this is not the only example of music festival in this month.

Music festivals in Madrid in September

This coming month brings quite a few music festivals to Madrid and its surroundings, all of different styles and philosophies. For example, in Getafe the 17th and the 23-24 of September respectively, you can enjoy the 4EVERY1 festival (electronic music) and the Neox Rocks festival (indie, pop, alternative)

Back in Madrid, the 30th de September in the Clamores bar, a minifestival of only one day takes place, with the name of 1/2 Madrid PopFest, with Pete Astor amongst many others performing. For hard-rock enthusiasts, the Las Ventas bullfighting ring hold a new edition of Rocktiebre on August the 17th, a Spanish rock classic.
